My client wanted a poster that could be used repeatedly every time their event was happening. The dates for this event are not set more than a week in advance, but it is always Fridays.
"Friday Night Game Night" is an event where people come together in a very friendly environment and have fun playing board games while making new friends.
To showcase the playfulness of FNGN I made the poster in the style of a playing card.
Using number in the corner to identify the time of start of the event, creating four different posters and placing them on top of each other to resemble an opened hand of cards, playing-card shapes, round corners, shapes reflectively symmetrical on top and bottom half. These are just some of the tools I used to create a playful but also a little competitive aura around these posters to rightfully represent what the event is.
